DeFever 43 Walkthrough Boarding this yacht can be accomplished on either the port or starboard side just forward of the sundeck or onto the swim platform and up a ladder on to the sundeck. Once on the large sundeck an entrance to the main cabin is forward to starboard and steps up to the flybridge are just starboard of the center line. Doors on both port and starboard provide additional entrances to the main cabin and the large foredeck can be accessed by walkways on either side of the boat. Once in the salon, the master cabin companionway is to aft, the U-shaped galley is port aft in the main cabin, the salon is forward and the lower helm is starboard forward in the salon. The companionway down to the guest stateroom, guest head and engine room if forward in the main cabin to port. The guest stateroom is in the bow and the guest head is aft of the guest stateroom to starboard. DeFever 43 Accommodations This yacht can sleep four comfortably and features a full beam master cabin with centered queen berth aft and a comfortable second cabin forward in the bow. The master cabin features an ensuite head and a second guest head is forward. DeFever 43 Salon & Lower Helm The salon offers a single lounge chair and new Raritan Ice Maker (2013) to starboard aft of the lower helm and an L-shaped sofa seating with coffee table to port aft. The salon has two large side windows with blinds to starboard and another large window with blinds over the sofa to port, teak parquet sole, door with screen to the sundeck and a port and starboard side deck access door with screens forward in the main cabin. There are two speakers over the lower helm connected to the Sony stereo (2013) located at the top of the companionway to the forward spaces. The lower helm is located starboard forward in the salon. Two transom portlights and four portlights on both port and starboard sides and an overhead hatch allow additional light and airflow to the space. The sole is teak parquet and two speakers in the space connect to the Sony stereo (2013) located at the top of the companionway to the forward spaces. A 21" Vizio flat screen TV (2013) is located forward to starboard in the space. The teak parquet flooring is in good condition, there are reading lights over each berth, plenty of under berth storage and a hanging locker to starboard There are two speakers forward in the stateroom and are connected to the Sony stereo (2013) located at the top of the companionway to the forward spaces.
